The crew has been arranging plants donated by Flippin Walmart in pots donated by Ozark Landcrafters. You will see them at several sites in Bull Shoals, including the Volunteer Fire Department, Shape Fitness, the Little Bit Used Shop, and the Bull Shoals Theater. The beautifiers pruned the yew hedges and pulled the leaves out from around them. With the debris gone, they found a rock garden bed with edging already there! They added some perennials donated by Flippin Walmart, washed the rocks, and now the bath house is better. (Notice the red sign donated by Ozark Engraving.) Mary Maddon from Ozark Engraving donated five signs to draw attention to the improved gardens around town. They're beautiful! Ryan and Marilyn used more of the plants from Flippin Walmart to polish up the north entrance to McDonald Meadows at Alford. Marilyn, Garby and Ryan planted flowers at the entrance of the Chamber Office using perennials donated by the good folks at the Flippin Walmart nursery and mulch from the City of Bull Shoals. Dam Site Park is open! Over the past few weeks, volunteers from around town have come together with the City of Bull Shoals to clean up Dam Site Park after years of neglect. The transformation has been remarkable! |
